The Professional Networking Symposium is designed to help students and young alumni better understand potential paths after graduation, including career and graduate school options. There are also many opportunities for students, alumni, and friends of Westminster College to meet and network with others in their field. The Symposium includes a Career & Networking Fair, breakout sessions and an opportunity to connect with students and other alumni. Sessions are designed to address specific topics and interests, include participants with directly relevant experience, and are moderated by experienced professionals.

Student registration will be through Handshake. Registration is OPEN NOW.

This event will be jointly sponsored by Forward Lawrence, West Central Job Partnership, Penn Northwest, and PA CareerLink.  The event is targeted to college students from Lawrence and Mercer counties and will include multiple local institutions of higher learning, as well as leading employers from the two-county region.  The intent of the day is educational with students participating in a series of training and breakout sessions led by our college and university partners.  Students will have the opportunity to meet with companies l to learn more about the organization, opportunities for internships / employment, as well as to network and gain awareness of some of the great career options available in our region.  Recent, local graduates will speak briefly about their successes and journeys, with an overarching theme of the ‘quality of life’ in our area and why graduates should consider remaining here after graduation.
