 Simple Servings -  Duff Student Restaurant

Simple Servings, an award-winning wellness concept, features delicious, homemade meas, prepared without 7 of the 8 FDA most common allergens. One of our most popular stations, students who simply prefer less complicated, but healthier recipes, line up to enjoy the dishes here.  Expect to find favorites like roast pork, rotisserie chicken, baked sweet potatoes, steamed green beans, and a variety of delicious entrees and sides!  75% of Simple Serving items also meet our Mindful criteria, so don't worry about compromising health and flavor!  Gluten-intolerant?  No problem - additionally, all our dishes served at this station are gluten-free.

VARIETY & INNOVATION:  A new menu is here!  It's based upon current students preferences and delivers a new type of variety into the menu.  We know you want different high-quality choices every day - a mixture of innovative trendy choices and comfort food from home and this new menu gives you just that!

FRESH & SUSTAINABLE CHOICES:  You can expect to see a variety of fresh and healthy seasonal produce and half of the all menu choices that meet wellness criteria for reduced amounts of fat, calories, sodium, and other nutritional attributes communicated with our new Mindful icon on menu signs.  The new menu also includes additional vegetarian options and sustainable seafood selections.

STAFF TRAINING & PRIDE: Our team is going through new training as we work together to prepare fresh choices for your every day.  We look forward to hearing your thoughts about the new choices.

Continental Breakfast

Our Continental Breakfast Buffet is the perfect way for everyone to start their day; with a wide selection of cereals, Danish pastries, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, milk and juices.  Hungry for Belgian Waffles?  Make our own at the Waffle Bar or create a yogurt parfait from the Yogurt Bar.  Open Monday - Friday.

Chef's Table

This exhibition cooking station is where our chefs prepare the meal, right before you.  International cuisine favorites from the Orient, Italy and Greece just to name a few.  Your made to order omelets are whipped up with your favorite ingredients during the weekend brunch.  Open Monday - Friday at lunch and dinner, Saturday and Sunday for brunch.

The Main Event

 The Main Event featuring hot entrees is just like mom's home style cooking.  Your favorites may include Baked Cod, Grilled Chicken Breast, Carved Virginia Ham, Yankee Pot Roast, Roasted Turkey Breast, Oven Baked Chicken, Beef Pot Pie or Stuffed Shells.  Open Monday - Friday at lunch and dinner, Saturday and Sunday for brunch.


The Grill



We'll put our pizza up against any in the area.  Whether you're the traditionalist and prefer cheese and pepperoni, or you're looking for the excitement of BBQ Chicken, Cheeseburger, Roasted Garlic White Pizza, Smokehouse, Meat Lovers or Mac & Cheese Pizza, you'll find it here. Available Monday - Friday at lunch and dinner.


Soup and Salad Bar

Looking for something on the lighter side?  A combination of handmade soup and freshly topped green salad will satisfy anyone.  Our Soup of the Day may include:  Loaded Potato, American Bounty Vegetable, Cream of Broccoli, French Onion, Chicken Corn Chowder, Stuffed Pepper and Chicken Noodle soup. Available for lunch, brunch, and dinner.


Eats 'n Treats your custom creation pop up station during lunch every Tuesday or Wednesday at Duff Dining.
